Day 24: Fabric/Heather

Portrait, f4.2, Exp. 1/1600, ISO 200, 35mm

I had a few options for today: a shot I took of the fabric my friend bought to make a quilt for her new niece, a shot of a quilt my grandma made or a shot of this umbrella. I chose the umbrella for its uniqueness.

Today was a beautiful summer day so my friend and I decided to have a "hammock day" on her deck (good idea as I have a 500+ page book to read by 8/8 and was able to knock out about 100 pages). As I was heading out of my subdivision, I rounded a corner and there was this open umbrella sitting in front of a truck. I stopped to take a few pictures as this was too good (and weird!) to pass up.
