Day 114: Glass/Heather

I knew right away what I wanted to use for this theme. I have had the little glass bowl since I was 4. Why my grandma thought this was appropriate, no one will ever know. My parents tried to get rid of it for years and I would never let them-even before I knew it was mine! I was devastated when we moved back from Arizona to find the movers had broken it. And I was thrilled to find the matching vase at an antiques and collectibles show in 2006.

I would love to know what this style of glass is called but so far have not been able to figure that out.
